COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing is Available

Vida Y Salud - Health Systems, Inc., is taking every measure to continue to keep our community healthy and safe, by promoting social distancing; practicing isolation strategies; continuously cleaning, and disinfecting — all to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

YOU CANNOT BE TESTED WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.

If you are showing COVID-19 symptoms:

Call 830-374-2302 for a telemedicine appointment.
You will have a tele med phone consultation or video call with a healthcare provider.
You will be informed if you need to be tested and given a testing appointment time.
Arrive at the scheduled time to the Drive-thru Clinic located in the back of the center (look for the tent). Do not park. Stay in your car and follow the directions given to you by our lab tech.
You will be called with the test results.
Please ask the provider any questions you may have.

The clinic is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and located 308 Cesar Chavez Ave.,
Crystal City, TX 78839.

Moderna COVID-19

Our goal is to vaccinate our service area as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Health Care Workers Definition First Tier:

Paid and unpaid workers in hospital settings working directly with patients who are positive or at high risk for COVID-19. Such as but not limited to:
1. Physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other support staff (custodial staff, etc.)
2. Additional clinical staff providing supporting laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostic and/or rehabilitation services
3. Others having direct contact with patients or infectious materials
Long-term care staff working directly with vulnerable residents. Includes:
1. Direct care providers at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and state supported living centers
2. Physicians, nurses, personal care assistants, custodial, food service staff
EMS providers who engage in 9-1-1 emergency services like pre-hospital care and transport
Home health care workers, including hospice care, who directly interface with vulnerable and high-risk patients
Residents of long-term care facilities

VSHSI will continue to follow the State's mandate for vaccination priority of individuals within the qualifying categories listed above.

This will be based on age, followed by other high-risk conditions. As people cancel their appointment or are no-shows, we are making those slots available so that no vaccine goes to waste.

As soon as we receive notice of additional vaccines, we will notify the public and make those available. We will provide Information via Local Newspapers and Facebook.
