Medical Appointments Clerk

Vida Y Salud-Health Systems, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is currently seeking an individual to fill a full-time position for a Medical Appointments Clerk.

• Requirements: Responsible for providing exceptional customer service in reception, scheduling, billing and collections. Complete registration process for all patients. Ensures all patients are checked in and print encounters and other duties as per the job description.

• Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED and at least one (1) year experience in front office work, medical records or related field. Must be computer literate. Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred. Must be competent and confident in the medical environment.  Tactful, courteous, and sensitive to patient needs. Able to follow instructions effectively and provide excellent customer service.
